Hoff Geotechnik is an international geotechnical contractor with a primary focus on design, supply and installation of rockfall hazard mitigation, slope stabilization, limited access drilling and underground support. We are the preffered contractor for highwall stabilization for mine box-cut and/or in-pit underground development access portals. 

We operate primarily in Africa and with our corporate office based in Sacramento, California, USA.

Our services cover SADEC countries such as South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Botswana, Mozambique, Angola, DRC and Zambia. In the West Africa our services cover Ghana, Mali, Senegal, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Mauritania and Ivory Coast. 

Hoff Geotechnik was established in 2016, originally as a geotechnical consulting company by civil and mining geotechnical engineers. Since 2016, Hoff Geotechnik has successfully completed many complex projects for a number of clients, ranging from private developers to top-tier mining companies. 

Our methods are preffered for conditions where conventional methods are limited; this includes difficult topography such as steep cliffs/highwalls or confined excavations such as hydro power plants, mine box-cuts and/or access portals. 

Hoff Geotechnik is experienced in undertaking complex projects requiring unconventional designs, drilling methods and construction procedures. We are accustomed to working for clients with stringent safety and environmental procedures.

Hoff Geotechnik has successfully completed multiple challenging projects with a clean safety record. We have achieved zero lost time injury rate and zero first-aid cases in a period exceeding 8 years. 

Hoff Geotechnik works directly with all major mining companies, public infrastructure companies, property developers; and as sub-contractors to top-tier construction companies. We also work in partnership with other geotechnical contractors and specialist consultants.
